Dear Company Director,
I have prepared this circular email to all our clients to ensure you are aware of the ASIC requirements affecting company directors and enclose a letter from ASIC dated 20 June 2022 regarding Director Identification Number (“DIN”) Obligations.

I draw your attention to the following.
Any individual appointed as a Director before 1 November 2021 must apply for a DIN by no later than 30 November 2022.
Any individual appointed as a Director on or after 1 November must apply for a DIN now.
Any Directors who do not apply for a DIN in time could be liable for criminal penalties.
I strongly recommend that any Director apply for a DIN immediately if you have not already done so.
